Welcome International Students, call for applications for the Buddy project and a new App

The Welcome International Students Project is renewed for the next academic year. The calls for the Buddy, Buddy Abroad projects, and for a new competition for the creation or integration of the "Welcome International Students" App are now online.

Buddy Project

The call for applications for the academic year 2021/2022 is online for 52 part-time contracts for tutoring lasting 50, 100 or 200 hours for students regularly enrolled in the academic year 2020/2021 with adequate language skills.

12 Tutor Coordinators with an hourly fee of 16 Euros

40 Buddy Tutors with an hourly fee of 10 Euros

Maximum number of 200 hours per academic year (a.y. 2021/2022) and the limit of 3,500 Euros per year.

Part-time collaborations must be carried out for the number of hours assigned,  from the date the activity was started and by 31 October 2023.

This project involves the creation of a welcome and assistance system, both for international students enrolling in a Degree Programme or carrying out a mobility period at our University, and for outgoing students who are about to undertake an Erasmus study period or mobility outside the European Union.

Buddy Abroad

The project aims to create a network of students at foreign universities.  Interested incoming students available to become Buddy Abroad will be selected interested at being of help for our students who will be able to contact them and receive information on the activities of their universities and in particular on programmes, reception, university and extra-university activities. At the end, a Buddy Abroad certificate will be issued.

A database and a mailing list will also be created to send any notices that may be of interest such as doctorates and scholarships or research grants.


App Mobile

The call for applications "App Welcome International Students" is online to involve students in the software development of an app for mobile devices.

Students, regularly enrolled in the academic year 2020/2021 in all study courses, can participate organized in groups consisting of at least one student for each territorial area of the University (Caserta, Naples, Capua, Aversa, Santa Maria Capua Vetere)

Awards per group: 1st prize € 3,000.00 2nd prize € 2,500.00 3rd prize € 2,000.00

First Medical Care

This project consists in the creation of a reception point for the health issues of international students enrolled in our study programmes or that are here for mobility periods.

There is a first free clinical examination with the detection of a possible specialised pathway following an agreement with the University Hospital.

The activities will take place in the Sant’Andrea delle Dame complex - Naples - ground floor, with access from Via De Crecchio n.8.
