"Maradona is a symbol, not only for those who love football, but for anyone who loves sport". Mario’s testimony is just one of the dozens of messages sent by students for the event entitled "What Maradona leaves us", organized by our University after one year from the death of the Pibe de Oro.

The huge movement of emotions caused by Maradona's death involved not only the generation that lived through those moments, but also those born after the Maradona era. "The death of Maradona was an absolutely exceptional event, which also significantly impacted the imagination of young people - explained Nicola Colacurci, sports delegate at the Vanvitelli University and organizer of the event - and this brought us to ask ourselves what sport represents for young people ".

The event will take place on 25 November 2021 at 10 am at the Rectorate of Caserta.
